Starting a new nano reef but not sure on tank

I am looking to start a new nano reef tank but I am not sure on which tank I am going with. I have been finding 29 Gallon Coralife Biocubes used in good condition for around $175 in my area but the Nuvo 20 Gallon has also caught my eye. The Biocube comes with lighting and a stand for the most part but from what I read the lighting on them sucks and needs to be upgraded, I was also warned to stay away from the non oceanlife branded cubes. The Nuvo 20 comes with no lighting but the design of the tank and its return pumps+ accessories look very appealing and they seem more expandable equipment wise.



I guess my question is anyone familiar enough with the nuvo systems to say if it's worth spending more on them vs the biocube? and is there anyone with enough experience with the Ocean Life biocube to point me to a good list of lighting upgrades and other nice biocube equipment?
