starting a white worm cultuer

so with all the talk of worms around here i had decided to start my own culture. finding a starter culture was actually a little difficult, not due to the lack of suppliers but that it is so hot nobody wanted to ship them. but i got one seller off ebay to sell me 2 8oz containers... well the shipping did take a toll on them just as i was warned. So lots of my worms escaped their containers and died in the box... they smelled pretty bad too, but some were still alive so im hopeful. i made my mix of organic peat moss and soil and dumped the containers in the center of the box but some were still on the shipping containers, so i sat them in the box hoping maybe a few would migrate over.



so as of right now the box is just settling down for now and i plan on feeding them tomorrow just havent decided what yet. i totally forgot to take pictures, so ill add some soon. also i want to add a fish oil or supplement to the food of some kind when im ready to feed them to my fish, but im not sure what kind or brands either.



if anyone has any suggestions please fill me in this is literally the first time i have ever grown anything as food
