I have my new tank creation, 65gal predrilled with a 1inch drain and 3/4 return in the family room with my 40 to 45 gal sump/fuge in the wet room outside in my patio closet 28 feet away. I'm running 28ft of 1 inch for my drain line and 28 ft of 3/4 for the return line.
Should I leave it 3/4 the whole way, 26ft or make it 1inch pvc up to the tank as it goes into the 3/4 bulkhead???
