How long will a packaged RO membrane last?

So I have a coralife RO unit, and ever since I switched to the fancy spectrapure membrane my water out of the membrane was 1:1, and no one could figure it out. Finally I decided to buy a new membrane in case the old one was faulty. But between the time I ordered it and got it, coralife had a "duh" moment and emailed me where there integrated flow restrictor was ( in the flush valve). So I calibrated it at FINALLY it works with the spectrapure membrane. Dropped from 4ppm to 1-2 ppm.



Anyhowzen, what do I do with the new one? Can I store it?
