Flame angel help

Hello, I started a 30 gal tank about two months ago. I let it cycle for the duration, and last week I purchased a flame angel to put in it. I realize an angel might not be the best "cycling" fish, but I couldn't pass it up for the price, and the clowns in my other tank do NOT take well to other fish lol. Anyhow it has ick. Besides a snail that came attached to some live rock it's the only fish in the tank. I usually do freshwater dips to all my fish before adding them, but my my fresh water tank is a little wacked right now because my nieces enjoy feeding the fish in it... Handfuls at a time.... The saltwater tanks are off limits to them for obvious reason. Back on subject, water parameters are decent in the 30 gal, just tiny fluctuations that come with cycling, amonia hits .25 ppm and rapidly drops, then the cycle continues. Iv raised the temp to 82 degrees, and have a bucket of freshwater getting ready for a dip in the am. Are there any other ways to treat ick without meds? I'd like to stay away from them as the tank is vulnerable because it's not very established yet.
