We bought an Aquamedic Blenny tank 4 months ago. It has live rock and live sand.
It has cycled and the water quality is good as we have an additional Fluval sump to help the skimmer.
The water quality is great: Ammonia <0.001, PH 8.3 average, salinity 1.025, temperature 25.5. We have a Seneye to monitor conditions.
Fish do really well and are very healthy however the minute we add either a snail, shrimp or soft coral they die within 24-48 hours.
We have tested for Copper and have none.
So everything seems ok except we are unable to look after these creatures that most say are easy to care for.
When we get additions to the tank we do the drip acclimatisation for about 1.5 hrs.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
Thanks
