I have been reading up on internal overflows (I'll have to drill my tank), and I have a general idea, but I'm still quiet confused.
I have a 75g tank that I'm thinking about making a FOWLR, and the plan is a 20g long, or 29g DIY sump.
what tank turnover do I want? I see the overflow boxes come in 700, 1200, 1500...
If i'm keeping live rock, would 700 be enough? If not, would I move to 1200? If so, then more questions would be...is it just 1 overflow hole? what return pump would be sufficient for a 1200 gph overflow? Would it be noisy? Both draining and then returning?
