Please everyone explain

My girlfriend loves very pretty fish and as most people know alot of the more prettier fish need BIG tanks, the ones shes always talking are the Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse and the Coral Beauty and please everyone i understand and know the min tank sizes, and long story short no matter what i say or do to help her understand that they need bigger tanks as we only have a 55 gallon, it leads into an argument lol. So can please can everyone who can explain or give great details why they wouldn't do well in a 55 gallons, she will say that other sites say 55 gallon is the min, which i also tried explaining that those sites that say 55 are just trying to make a quick buck, so your advice is greatly needed.
