using alagefix

I put alage fix in my tank about 15 min ago then noticed one of my live rocks had fallen. I read on the back it's hazardous to absorb it in ur skin (of course swallowing it or in eyes) also read could cause cancer. Is it safe to put my hand in the water to fix my rock
