Building 1st Sump, How to Install Baffles?

I was wondering if anyone can share any techniques they use for holding baffles in place when applying the silicone sealant. Also, what is everyone's strategy for installing a bubble trap? I know how it needs to be setup, but my concern is how do you get the silicone down to the bottom in the inside??? If I have 3 baffles 1" apart, how the heck am I going to be able to get to the bottom of a 8-10" baffle to seal the edges?
