Ok so I have a 29 gallon tank that I've been running the reef octopus bh-50 skimmer on since I got it. The tank is has been up and running for 5, almost 6 months now (because this is how long I was told to wait before introducing corals) I have a sebae anemone that's looking pretty healthy since I got him from the store, and a Xenia that has been closed more than usual the past couple days but still looks healthy. I got a purple tip torch yesterday from the fish store, acclimated him by floating him in the bag for 20 minutes, then added a small amount of my water to the bag. He is at the bottom of the tank with not too much flow hitting it so I'm not sure what the problem is, I have the "current orbit" light I've noticed a lot of talk about wattage and such on the site and I'm sorry I'm not sure what that is, but I was told this light would keep corals alive and grow them slowly. Please help, is the coral just not fully acclimated yet?
