waves with no wave maker?

Any idea on having a tank that you don't see any overflows returns or powerheads? And still have waves?



I think I have a plan for not seeing overflows and returns by getting a "low sitting" canopy.



Is there a way to somewhat emulate wave makers like vortecs with out seeing them?



Maybe surg box/ats on top the tank?



I want to set up a 180 later and planning it out now sleek and clean look
