Saltwater Paludarium

I've always appreciated the look of paludarium style aquariums, and decided that my next aquarium endeavor should be a stab at making one. Most of the ones I see are freshwater, however, after doing a little bit of research I've found a few saltwater ones.

I'm curious to know if anyone here has attempted one (freshwater or saltwater) and how they went about it?

Also, I'm hoping to start up a list of plants/algaes able to withstand saltwater. I was originally hoping to keep this a somewhat cooler water set-up, but I'm worried I'm going to have difficulty finding anything that can live in this set-up.
