Lighting for Soft Corals

I have 45 gallon bow that i would like to add corals in sometime in the future. The problem is that the canopy that came with the tank only has space for a single fluorescent light. I doubt even the easiest corals can live with a single bulb. The tank is 36 inches wide so what would be a good lighting system to keep easy corals for a good price?
