So I lost my RG today due to ich and my YCG a few days ago to starvation. My tank parameters and info is in that thread. Someone there mentioned checking stray voltage so I did. I'm not an expert on reading a multimeter but this is what I did.
I put the grounding probe in the wall outlet and unplugged each component at once. The multimeter read something the whole time and never dropped. This is a pic of the reading.
So this reading also stayed the same when I shut off the power strip via the switch on the strip. I then unplugged the power strip from the wall. The powerstrip was in the top outlet and the grounding probe was in the outlet under it. My multimeter drops to zero when I unplug the strip and goes back up to the reading I showed you after plugging it back in.
Do I have stray voltage or not? Is this normal??
