Chaeto: To Roll or Not to Roll?... That is the question.. You tell me!

Hey guys! I wanna know your opinion.. should chaetomorpha be rolling or not rolling? In my opinion I wasn't getting enough flow through the algae and it started to lose some of the strong green color it usually has. As soon as I balled it up and got it rolling, within 2 days, the deep green color came back and even better than ever. Every sump/ref is different but I wanna hear your opinions...
