So My wife felt bad for a very large (8 inches +) blue hippo tang that our LFS had in a 10 gallon tank and I had no choice but to buy it, really not a hard choice. I told her our 55g is still not big enough so she told me to go shopping (ohh the magic words she would regret later lol). I found a 180g tank with just about everything it needed used for $250. When I got there to check it out the guy neglected to tell me it came with 300lb of various live rock as well as about 150lbs of live sand. In the course of just shootin the stuff with the guy he offered up four other systems ranging from 20g all the way to 40g in the deal too so bonus. We brought it home and unloaded everything to start the set up and testing on it. In the midst of all of this the tang was added to our 55g and like an idiot I did not QT the fish. after three days it started showing signs of crypto (some call it marine ich). I yanked all three of my fish and started treating in a QT and decided this was as good as time as any to finish up the build and get it into place. I know how much yall like pictures so I took a few while I was doing this so you could come along for the ride too.
