My parents always had freshwater tanks when I was growing up. In fact, at one point the had a piranha! I have been keeping a freshwater tank for several years now, but my husband Marineland 60 gal tank with stand for $150. I bought and in January hubby and I started slowly building. We now have 2 clown (orange and white), 2 peppermint shrimp, 1 diamond sleeper Goby and 3 Margarita Snails.
