I have had my bta for a little over 2 weeks. I was not aware that they are not supposed to be white. So I have been trying to nurse it back to health. Yesterday it was looking great. Today it was almost fully detached from the rock it's been on since day 1 and all shriveled up, mouth closed. I picked it up off the sand and placed it on a rock. It hasn't attached or moved. I also have 2 peppermint shrimp that can be obnoxious. They harass it every day at some point. I need to know if I should quarantine the anemone? Is it dead or dying? Should I remove the peppermint shrimp? How do I help this anemone survive? I feed it small bits of brine shrimp.
