so this past week for some reason unfathomable to me I was given the ok to spend some cash on equipment as part of a reforming of my tank, so I bought an AI hydra 26 HD for my frag tank to try a real LED fixture. and mostly cause I didn't want to spend 160 dollars on bulbs next month. but anyway the other piece I have wanted for some time is a gyre for my 6' 125G not quite FOWLR tank. as I have 3 power heads in it now and it still isnt enough flow for me. just generic ones off ebay for something like 2800 ish GPH I believe think 2 800 and a 1300. but I was wondering does anyone have any experience with this in a 6' tank as the only power head? the main reason I would want it is to replace all the power heads currently in the tank.
I have attached some photos so you can get an idea of the tank.
and as a shameless plug some other photos of the tank as it is now. and the stand that I just finished and have high hopes for as it is my first. would love to clean up the look of it. and get it off cinder blocks
