I am setting up a 37Gallon high aquarium (30Lx22.5Hx12D) for Seahorses (which I have had before). I have a sand bottom, live rock, and I am adding a 5Gal CPR refugium with protein skimmer filled with MUD, live rock frags & porous rock media and Calerpa. These will serve as my filtration. I know from past experience that I must have low flow or adjustable flow circulation pumps or powerheads to eliminate dead spots and keep the water circulating. I was considering a couple of the Hydor Koralia 240 nano's down low and a Hydor Koralia 425 up top. Any suggestions from Seahorse keepers?:rotflmao:
