Hello I am a new member and new to the salt water world. I have a 55 gallon for 2 months and currently have live sand 1 damsel and 1 snail. I had a clowfish but it just died this morning, i noticed it had been swimming at the top for the past 2 days. I checked my water last night and everything was good except my nitrate was at 20ppm, can anyone tell me what happend? I also have a dry rock and protein skimmer addidng live rock this week.
