So I bought a blue ribbon eel 2 weeks ago from a local store after doing a ton of research and after making sure he was eating. He's been in my dt for 2 days now and I notice that the tip of his tail is missing flesh and has exsposed bone. I messed up at first and capped off the end of his pvc "cave". That has since been resolved. Could exposure to an air bubble or waste have done that within 2 days? I put him back in quarintine but not sure if I should treat it or see if it will heal itself... Any thoughts...?
