Hey!
I ordered seven corals from DD a few weeks ago, and pretty much everything has been fine, until a couple days ago. My porites coral closed all its polyps and coated itself in slime, and the blue ridge coral has been doing that for the majority of the time I've had it. I didn't think much of it as the porites had done that after shipping and ended up opening a few days later, and the blue ridge still looked the same. It's been a few days now and it's started to bother me, so I decided to blow off the slime with a syringe. After getting most of the slime off the ridge coral I noticed these tiny elongated, oval shaped, critters running around on it, but only where the slime still remained. These "bugs" were the size of pinheads so I wasnt able to get a picture. Then I noticed the same on the porites. The side of the tank they're on is where the majority of my corals reside, however these two are the only ones showing signs of stress as of yet. What are they and how do I eliminate them?? I'd prefer not to remove them as they're glued to massive rocks, and if they're already in the tank I'm guessing dipping wont rid of them completely.
I did not dip initially, and now I feel incredibly dumb  :help:
