Hello!
I'm new to the saltwater tank hobby, and I am cycling my first tank!.
The cycle is now almost complete after almost 6 weeks, but when my skimmer arrived and I installed it, the water turned cloudy and it has been like that for about a week now, and it doesn't seem to be the aragonite.
Do any of you know what is going on? I'm worried it's a bacterial or algae bloom. I have also noticed a few micro bubbles in my tank but i figured it's normal since the skimmer is just breaking in.
My tank info:
30 gallon AIO Setup
12 watt Actinic LED lights (programmed from 8:00 to 21:00)
12 watt Daylight LEDs (programmed from 10:00 to 20:00)
4* 0.5 watt Moonlights (have never turned them on LOL)
20 lbs. of AragAlive Bahamas Oolite aragonite
32 lbs. of Fiji Totoka cured live rock
150 watt digital heater @ 80ºF
1 Hydor Koralia 450GPH powerhead
1 500 GPH Return pump with Innovative Marine's Spin-Stream
1 Coralife SuperSkimmer 65-gallon
2 Canister filters with three sponges (sediment, carbon and phosphates)
No fish, inverts or corals yet! However, I've noticed some copepods and little white worms on the glass.
