Help! Parasitic worm on percula clown!

Help! I found something that looks like a parasitic worm on the base of one of my percula clowns this morning. The clown was swimming erratically and managed to tear a large portion of the "worm" off itself. I have a photo below of the “worm” on the fish and a photo of the "worm" falling in the water column. I am concerned that a small piece still remains on the fish. I have some cleaner gobies and a cleaner shrimp but my dottybacks harass them to the extent they can’t clean anything in the tank. Any advice on what this is and what to do would be appreciated.



If necessary, I can make a 5 gallon bucket into a QT on short notice.
