Cycle stage (diatoms)

Hi guys.



So I am going the cycling faze with my saltwater tank. It's currently been 8 days and I have noticed ''diatoms'' on my sand bed and on my LR.



I've heard this is pretty normal during a cycle faze but I'm a little worried it's going to cover everything as there is a lot in there right now.



Any suggestions? Also is this a sign my tanks cycle is doing well?
