Well I've yet to act on my broken brace. I'm getting ready to do my baffles and I was thinking I could use the same plexiglass to brace it. It would be an H brace with two cross members instead of one to make a nice little table while cleaning as well. I plan on using 4 nylon bolts per side and adhesive to secure it. Is epoxy reef safe? If not is there any adhesive that I can use?
The bridges will be about six inches apart with the brace being 18inches long, this may also be the support of my filter sock/s in the future.
If not epoxy (the kind you will find at autozone, it's a 2part made to withstand the corrosion of a vehicles environment.
Super glue? I doubt caulk or silicone would do the trick tying to hold or pull the tank together.
