I have been wondering how many UV LEDs to get and what spectrum I should be looking for. I have a couple extra drivers laying around the house and all I would need is the LEDs.
Here is what I have on my fixture. 12CW, 10NW, 22RB, and two 20000K 50 Watt LEDs from China. Everything except the china LEDs are dimmable. I have a decent mix of color, but i want to add UV LEDs in the mix to see how those work.
Below are the options I was thinking of, but I am open to suggestions.
12 410-420nm LEDs from rapid led.
12 430nm hyper violet from ledgroupbuy.
8 HV, and 6UV from ledgroupbuy.
Or 2 turquoise, 2 cyan, 2 green, 2 red, and 4 HV.
This will be to bring out some of the color of my Corals. Which color mixture should I do? I want full spectrum for optimizing coral growth.
This should put me right at 56 LEDs over my 90G. I want to order the lights tomorrow night so please give me your opinions .
