Permission from the missus

Okay, I have been talking with the missus about setting up a large tank when we make our move from Augusta, GA to Bethesda, Md. We were talking numbers last night and we came to an agreement on the size of the tank (the plan is to custom build a forever home with a massive tank as part of the architecture). The display tank will consist of approximately 180,000 gallons, with a 20,000 gallon refugium; saltwater. I'd love to join a (or some) reef community(s) in the area prior to our move. The plan is to coordinate with local colleges and use it as a teaching toold to promote growth in the hobby. If anyone has experience with giant scale projects I am open to any feedback, or any productive discussion that would help make this tank a reality. It will be as true a representation of oceanice life as I can make it.I look forward to getting to know many of you and will be keeping a detailed record of planning, construction, stocking, and maintenance.
