Flame Hawkfish

Just bought a flame Hawkfish for my 30G fish only and he's settling in really well. However I have a quick question about his colour. All the pictures I see of these fish on the internet show them to be really bright red but mine is more of a pink not red. He's about 2.5 inches long so not sure how old he is and I'm feeding him mysis at the moment. Does their diet influence their colour or will he get more red with time?
