So i'm using an API Master Test Kit, all my levels look good, pH hovering around 8, nitrates 0, everything else is 0, calcium is about 480.... but my dKH is off the scale.
The test kit says 1 drop is equivelant to 1dKH, and when it turns yellow thats what it is... Well I tested today and it is officially at 50 drops, so i'm going to say it's 50dKH?!?! How is this possible?
The tank is about a month old, have a damsel and Clownfish and a couple of soft corals...
How can I fix this dKH problem, how the hell can it be so high?
Thanks for any help :read:
