The Bandit

Well, after a stepped water change to correct my nitrates everything seems fine and my landlord who is also my roommate kept complaining about how boring the tank was so he bought me a coral bandit shrimp :) I warned him it might be too soon to add anything since I just got the nitrates down today, but he didn't care even if he did die and I told him well the only thing I want right now is a CBS so he said how much and I said 20$ so I got him and since I was there I bought 2 more pieces of live rock to make a little loop in the rocks so he would have a place to 'hang out' haha I crack myself up. The snails (whom ive decided to name batman and robin) are back to their old selves since the water change I tried to get a pic of the CBS but he is in a spot where I could barely get him.. I also rigged up a blue led light that used to my a dome light in my old ford f-150 (ive always liked blue lights he he) so I could at least see something at night, with its low profile ill probably use this light as a moonlight light after I get everything else setup in the future. enjoy some pics!!











I know the glass is a little dirty on that last one but with the huge WC today and today is my 'friday' I just wanted to do nothing after I finished the WC because well mixing 40 gallons of saltwater in 5gal buckets is exhausting..



On a lighter note, getting the CBS whose name is now 'Bandit' allowed me to setup my drip acclimate station so now anything else that is added can be done correctly
