Switched from freshwater aquarium to saltwater. Need as much advice and tips as can g

OKAY. The other day I finally made the jump to saltwater. I had a freshwater aquarium for 1 year and a half. No casualties. 29 gallon long. Marineland canister filter and a hot magnum canister filter. 55 gal rated aerator. And a heater of coarse. Now, I gave my fish to a local pet store. Went to another local pet store and bought salt, sand, compact dry coral, lava rock, hydrometer, thermometer, stress coat(live bacteria) maxijet 1200 power head with propeller mode hooked up at the moment. I added the salt and in and got it to the correct reading. Rinsed sand for about an hour. Rinsed out all of my filters and tank. Let run for a day. Today I bought some two Blue Damsels and a Striped damsel. they are getting along great. their colors are more vibrant then they were at the pet shop. I eventually want to add corals and other plants to my tank but I don't have the first clue on when I can do this. I was wondering what lighting would be best for this type of tank. How long does it take for my tank to be established to add plants and coral? Good visual signs my tank is thriving or establishing itself? Im using led at the moment. Best things I can buy or do to help my buddies be healthy and happy? I would really love and appreciate any and all advice to setting up my tank with success. Also any info on pods, live rock, algae growth, live sand, ect cause I know very little about those things and I hear about them a lot.
