Skimmer Needed?

So today I started a new tank. Nothing as extreme as my 150gal reef tank. As a matter of fact this 75gal tank will be a FOWLR tank with just a single lionfish. I don't feel I need a skimmer with this setup. It's a low bioload. The way I see it is a lion fish really won't have any uneaten food....just waste. It's got 50lbs of live rock and about 40lbs of sand. With normal weekly water changes I should be able to do without a skimmer right?



Any thoughts?
