radion fan/light dead

i currently have 2 gen 1 radion fixtures and the fan stopped working on one of the so the light now shuts down after a few minutes so my question is would one fixture be enough if centered over my 90 gallon mixed tank to survive while i send in the broken unit or should i get a different light while i am waiting for the broken one to be fixed.
