New tank lighting help needed

I just bought a 200 gallon 72x24 deepx28 high. My LFS said I should put 2 36" current orbit leds and that should be suffice to grow everything but acros. From my research and reading some threads on here that won't be nearly enough. Is he telling me the truth or will I be wasting money? I have an old t5 w/ halide fixture that half works and a chiller , should I use that?



I was told the two current strips would be enough from two stores in my area.
