New skimmer in the future..

Okay, so after 2 days and 40$ its time to throw away that pos 'Frankenstein skimmer' from my other post. Plus after working on it I think it was actually designed as a filter, not a skimmer and was givin to my buddy by some random person who thought it was a skimmer, p.s. its in the trash now, I have no use for a filter.

So, basically, before I start adding coral (est. 6 months from now) ill have one or two fish and a bunch of live rock. I would also like to have a sump before I introduce coral.

My major projects in order of importance to me:

Skimmer

Lighting & canopy built at the same time

Stand

Sump

You will notice skimmer is on top and sump is on bottom, I want a skimmer but I don't wanna have to buy another skimmer for my sump after that gets built in the coming months.

So, incase you don't know, here are my dimensions of my main tank and the tank I already have that I will be building into a sump:

48" x 12" x 18" main

30" x 12" x 13" sump

75 total gallons if the conversion tool I just used is right lol

SO ill need a protein skimmer that I can put in my sump, but until then I would like to use it without a sump, what are some of the best options for the $$ that will fit my needs? (if I can even use a sump in this fasion) Id like ease of cleaning as well and im looking at about 25"-30" of space under the stand that I will be building as for the footprint, I haven't made the compartment in the sump tank yet so I can always build around it.
