New coral appeared

I am new to reef and this is my first post. I have a 10g nano set up with 25lbs dry rock (Florida) and a couple pieces of live rock (Petco generic). I met a guy about an hours drive from my home and bought some corals. That was 5 weeks ago and everything is doing pretty good. I can't find a spot that makes the zoas happy but working on that. None of the stuff was named so I can only guess as to what I have. The leather has grown about 30-40%. About once every 10 days it decides to not send out it's polyps and sheds the next day and is very happy. The green hairy mushrooms are looking pretty good and one decided to divide in half into 2. The waiving had has gone wild. I started with about 10 polyps and no clue how many I have now. They were about a half inch diameter on the rock when I glued them there and now they cover about 3-4 inches. I have what I think is either a colt or kenya tree that has doubled in height. I would love if someone could identify some of these where I'm wrong.

Here's the question. I found what looks like more colt corals coming up from my Florida dry rock. The colt is 5+ inches away and not spreading its base much but growing longer. Would it be normal for it to release "babies" that find themselves in the cracks of rocks? I know this is a noob question. I'm just curious how they got there. I only have one 3 stripe damsel that doesn't nip at the corals. I haven't fragged or cut them.
