Hi All,
I have a 10 gallon nano that is doing great, except for dKh. My parameters are 1.025 Salinity (Using a refractormeter) PH 8.2, Nitrates .1 ppm (Dosing Vodka), Calcium 420, and the problem child, dkh 13.
I currently use RO water, but I believe that the problem lies with the water around this area. Is there any way to lower dKh? As I've read you will want to have something between 9-11 as that's the alkalinity found in the ocean.
Thank you,
P.S.
I can't let it fall on its own because the water that I use for water changes has a dkh of 12. (That's the water I prepare prior to water changes).
