Is 8 inches in between my Aussie Hammer and Aussie Acan enough space?

Hey guys! Just wondering... I know that my Aussie Hammer can really stretch out at night... do you think that 8 inches between that and my Red Acan is far enough? They are on 2 separate rocks and the max they could grow would still have 8 inches of room. Do you think this is enough? I don't want my pretty red Acan to get shredded up by the Hammer. Thanks!
