Algae Good or Bad?

Hi,

I have a newer algae growing on the walls/rocks that is very soft and velvet in color. On the wall the algae has very fine soft filaments growing.

It is not coralline algae but does look very nice in color.

Not sure if this is good to let grow or should I contain/remove?
