I was cleaning my tank Sunday and managed to get a bristle worm sting and bite. No big deal, right? Got out the eyebrow wax, spread it over, ripped it off... no more bristles, and continued cleaning the tank. Monday my right index finger was covered with small brown spots and hurt like heck. Tuesday my finger began to swell, and my ring finger became discolored as well. So Wednesday I figured I should go to the immediate care clinic, who then transferred me directly to the emergency room. They had to open my finger to drain it. Wear gloves.
