Fighting Dinos

Hello All:

Im over run with Dinos. Ive had them for about three months but its getting very bad now. Im going dark for three days, but Ive read conflicting reports about water changes during the dark cycle...some say do it every day, some say dont do it at all. Whats the consensus? Any additional tips about getting rid of Dinos would be appreciated! Im currently running carbon, trying to raise the pH, and made my skim extra wet.
