We returned from the Emerald Coast in the Florida panhandle from vacation a couple of weeks ago. I taught my 7yr daughter how to snorkel. She found quite a few shells. She now wants to put her best shells in my 180g reef. Probably about a dozen or so. All of them about the size of a silver dollar.
1) How do you clean the shells? with vinegar?
2) Are sea shells reef safe over time? I suppose I can pull them and clean algae off them when needed.
Thoughts?
