First time BTA owner...anemone at tank bottom?

Hey guys, I recently decided to get a green BTA..have wanted one for a while but i know that anemones in general can be a pain...with my current lighting I only have about 2.9W/gallon...the tank is about a year and 8 months old and I have had my anemone for about 3 weeks... I was just curious...since I don't exactly have the most powerful lighting...why does the anemone insist on hanging out at the bottom of the tank in the rock crevices?



The anemone shows all the signs of being very healthy and eats well...and my snowflake clown hosted it almost immediately....but if the anemone did indeed need more light...wouldn't it move up my rock structure?
