Tiny little critters on glass and sand

Hey i have thousands of little critters on my glass and sand bed. I was wondering if this was a good thing or bad thing. My water also seems to be a little cloudy. Any help would be appreciated. My ammonia is 0, nitrite 0, nitrate under 10.
