Wife not happy with new Cleaner Shrimp dying within hours of introduction

Went to the Fish store yesterday and bought 10 Nessarius snails, 1 Cleaner shrimp and 1 Diamond Goby.

Within in hours of introducing everything I notice my Hermit crabs having a gourmet meal of my cleaner shrimp. wasted $30 on it. Everything else is fine though.



My wife loves Cleaner shrimp to the point she is very upset with it dying.



I am at my wits end with this and don't know what the issue is because this is the 3rd time this has happened.

I checked my parameters this morning and everything is fine so I don't know why I cant seem to keep Cleaner shrimp in my tank. Could it be the Hermits?

I cant see a Hermit catching a shrimp myself but who knows.
