I was looking for a good pump for my Q tank, and I came across the JBJ Ocean Stream OS-101. It's a 500 gph propeller style pump that would be perfect for my little 10.
I got it today and I can't help but notice that it Looks like the piece that attaches the pump to the magnet is made of metal. It looks like a piece of metal threaded rod. It does appear to have some coating.
I was wondering if anyone uses this pump, and if you had any trouble with this part rusting or anything?
