I remember watching this show a few months back called "The Monster Inside Me" or something like that and it was abou people who were infected by different parasites. In one episode a parasite entered a girls body through a cut on her hand when she was cleaning her freahwater tank.
Since I've been starting my saltwater tank I can't help but wonder about (especially with all of the organisms from the live rock) the possibilities of some nasty microscopic organism getting me too lol. Obviously you can wear gloves which would help protect against such things but still.
I'm curious if anyone here has experienced something like this before or knows someone who has?
